Kitesurfing Guide to Spain’s Windswept Tarifa

It’s difficult to avoid the main attraction in this wind-swept town: kitesurfing. Downtown there are quaint, Andalucían white houses with narrow streets, with a hillside overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar.

Head to the beach and you’ll soon be exfoliated by the high winds and rushing sands. Squint hard across the water on a clear day, you’ll see Morocco.

Where to stay in the quaint, blanco village of Tarifa.

Hospedería Diez Y Seis is located in downtown Tarifa. During our stay, we truly enjoyed the convenience of the location and interior design of the establishment. It was easy to check-in and out, and breakfast was top-notch. Rooms were clean and recently renovated. We’ll be back!
